Porsche carrera championship leader Tim Harvey has had a replica of his race winning car built by none other than our own Peter Drury.
Congrats and good luck Tim, maybe you shouldn't let Pete too close to your car with CometRC stickers in his back pocket!
Both cars look amazing as the pictures show.

Early start for me this weekend. Got up at 4.30 and drove 4 hours to get to the track at Halifax. Dan had driven up the night before, and stayed in a hotel, so he was up eatin breakfast and trackside by 8.30. Nothing like getting a text at 8am saying "just got up and about to eat breakfast" whilst you're driving and have been up for 3 hours, cheers Dan!

Super Production Cup 22-23/05/2010.
The sun was shining for us on the weekend of 22-23rd of May 2010 for rounds five and six of the 2010 Super Production Cup.
The venue for this weekend was the superb Adur raceway on the south coast in Shoreham by Sea West Sussex.
I arrived on Saturday afternoon for some much needed practice as this was my first visit to Adur.
As always lipos were already charged so after setting up of pit table and gazebo I was soon on the track.
With temperature in the high twentys the level of grip was excellent and after a couple of five minute runs the timing equipment showed a pleasing nineteen laps.

Peter Podiums!
Saturday 1st May saw Qball and I travel to Weston Super Mare for the first BTCC round of 2010.The track itself is situated on the outskirts of the town and facilities include covered rostrum and pitting area with 240 volt mains supply.Food is also available in the onsite Pitstop cafe and a compressor functions constantly for cleaning of the cars.The circuit itself was opened on November the 20th 1977 and is one of the oldest circuits in the UK.The layout comprises a tight,narrow but flowing infield section and a long main straight allowing for high top speed,the modified cars were speed gunned at 66 mph wow!

Last weekend Peter, Spencer and I attended round 2 of the STCC series at Southend.
We arrived early greeted by an overcast sky and looking forward to another good day.
I went out in practice early and was very happy with my car's handling & balance from the beginning and retuned to the pits to work on changing my speedo settings slightly.

The weekend of 11th April saw us at the superb Eastbourne Model Car Club for the second round of the Super Production Cup.
I arrived shortly after midday on Saturday. And with lipos previously charged the night before I was soon on the track in an attempt to set up the Team Magic E4JS for race day on Sunday.
After a couple of runs which, although good, saw the rear of the car a little loose. So front shock oil was upped from 40 weight to 50 weight to stiffen the front end resulting in more rear end grip.
Also new tyres were fitted enabling me to scrub them in.

At the weekend I attended my first ever Southern League Challenge Cup at Aldershot. It was the first outing for my new Team Magic E4RS in the 13.5 SuperStock class, so I didnt have to higher expectations as I had not driven the car in a race meeting of any sort until the day.

I've been running my 09 with the Blitz 2.3 which I like. It has plenty of steering
and is nice and stable.
There seems to be a bunch of new shells to choose from this year so I thought
Id try a few of them out.
The first one I have painted up is an old favourite, the Stratus 3.1.

Michael Bolt at 8 years old took top juniior spot and finished 10th overall in the 2009/2010 Chippenham Thrashnals. CometRC.com sponsered the prizes for the juniors and knew from early on in the competition that Michael would be one of the top finishers.
